About This Match
Primarily a .22 rimfire benchrest match with classes based on rifle type. Also includes a brief centerfire benchrest after the rimfire series. Originally created to give retirees an opportunity to shoot competitively on a weekday, but we welcome all shooters regardless of age.
Our matches are unsanctioned with flexible rules on gun weight, scope magnification, etc. We're mainly here for fellowship and "no pressure" shooting fun. Sometimes we have bonus matches – egg shoots, swinging targets, and just about anything (we've even shot aspirin tablets at 50 yards).
Classes
Rimfire (50 & 100 yards):
- Standard Rifle (benchrest design, no tuner)
- Custom (Standard with barrel tuner)
- Iron Sights
- Sporter
- Semi Auto
- Tactical Rimfire (repeating rifles, bipod & rear bag)
Centerfire (100 yards, 10 rounds): Standard (factory guns) and Custom (built for benchrest)
